Yamaha golf carts at Terrain

Four Yamaha carts from $7,375 to $12,455. One of them, the Drive2 QuieTech, is pre-owned, priced from used-market data and marked Pre-owned on its page. Yamaha offers the Drive2 and Concierge 4 with either the QuieTech EFI gas engine or PowerTech AC or lithium electric drive, and the record for each cart lists the battery fitted on the electric versions.

Models and prices

• Yamaha Drive2 QuieTech — 19 mph, $7,375
• Yamaha Drive2 — 2 passengers, QuieTech EFI gas or PowerTech AC/lithium electric, 15 mph, up to 45 miles on electric, 8–10 hour charge, $9,481
• Yamaha UMAX Bistro — 2 passengers, gas, electric or lithium; built for mobile food and beverage service, $10,731
• Yamaha Concierge 4 — 4 passengers, QuieTech EFI gas or PowerTech AC/lithium electric, 19 mph, $12,455

Which Yamaha to choose

The Drive2 is the two-seat cart and the only one in our Yamaha range with a published electric range figure, up to 45 miles. The Concierge 4 is the four-seater at 19 mph. The UMAX Bistro is a different animal: a two-seat UMAX platform set up for serving food and drink, so buy it for that job rather than as a family cart.

What we tell you before you order

Freight is a flat $250 to any address we ship to, shown in the total before you pay; delivery is 7 to 10 business days by lift-gate freight. A cart marked on backorder can be ordered now; ask us for the ETA before you pay and we will confirm it in writing.

Who makes Yamaha golf carts, and where are they made?

Yamaha golf cars come from Yamaha Golf-Car Company, headquartered in Kennesaw, Georgia, which says all of its cars are assembled and produced at its Newnan, Georgia facility. Yamaha Motor launched its first golf car, the YG292, in 1975. Sources: Yamaha Golf-Car Company, Yamaha Motor.

Do you sell the Yamaha G29 or Adventurer Super Hauler?

No. The Yamaha models we list are Concierge 4, Drive2, Drive2 QuieTech (pre-owned) and UMAX Bistro. The G29 and Adventurer Super Hauler are not in our line, and we hold no pre-owned unit of them; if that changes, the model will appear on this page with its own record. Our guide to where the Precedent, DS and TXT stand today shows what each maker lists in their place. For a cart in the same class, ask us and we will say plainly what we can and cannot source.
