Short answer: the Club Car Precedent, Club Car DS and E-Z-GO TXT are not on the makers’ current lineup pages, only in their history pages and owner’s manuals. As of October 8, 2026, Club Car’s fleet page lists only the Tempo, E-Z-GO’s lists the RXV and Freedom RXV, and Yamaha’s lists the Drive2, not G29. We carry none of them.
Where are the Club Car Precedent and DS now?
- 1980s: Club Car’s own history puts the DS in this decade, designed by Dom Saporito, calling it “the flagship model for golf courses worldwide”.
- 2004: the Precedent i2 was launched as a next-generation golf car.
- 2014: the Precedent i3 debuted with integrated GPS.
- 2017: Club Car introduced the Onward personal transportation vehicle and what it calls the automotive-inspired Tempo fleet golf car.
Club Car’s current US fleet-golf page lists the Tempo and nothing else under golf cart fleet; neither Precedent nor DS appears on it. Club Car still sells Precedent accessories such as a lift kit and seats, which is where the name shows up on its site today.
What we list from Club Car:
- Fleet-style two-seater: Club Car Tempo
- Personal use:
- Utility and transport:
Where is the E-Z-GO TXT now?
E-Z-GO’s fleet lineup page lists two golf cars, the RXV and the Freedom RXV, with EX1 gas or ELiTE lithium power. The TXT is not on it. Where the TXT does appear on E-Z-GO’s site is in owner’s manuals:
- An owner’s guide for the TXT Fleet EX1 EFI (gas)
- An owner’s guide for the TXT Fleet 48V electric
For personal use E-Z-GO now sells the Valor and Freedom as trims of the RXV 2, RXV 4 and Express 6.
What we list from E-Z-GO:
- E-Z-GO Express 6
- E-Z-GO Express L6 (pre-owned)
- E-Z-GO Express S2 (pre-owned)
- E-Z-GO Express S4
- E-Z-GO Express S6 (pre-owned)
- E-Z-GO Freedom RXV
- E-Z-GO RXV 2 (pre-owned)

Is there a Yamaha G29?
Yamaha’s fleet page lists:
- Drive2 Fleet, in five powertrain variants
- UMAX and Adventurer Super Hauler utility cars
- Drive2 PTV, Yamaha’s personal line
No car called G29 appears on that page, so if you are searching that code, the Drive2 is the Yamaha golf car the maker lists today.
What we list from Yamaha:
Should you buy one of the older models used instead?
That is a fair question and not one we can answer for you, because we do not hold any of them. What we can say is what we do hold: 11 of the carts we list are pre-owned, priced from used-market data and marked Pre-owned on their pages:
- Cushman Hauler 1200 (pre-owned)
- Cushman Hauler 800 (pre-owned)
- Cushman Shuttle 2 (pre-owned)
- Cushman Shuttle 4 (pre-owned)
- Cushman Shuttle 6 (pre-owned)
- E-Z-GO Express L6 (pre-owned)
- E-Z-GO Express S2 (pre-owned)
- E-Z-GO Express S6 (pre-owned)
- E-Z-GO RXV 2 (pre-owned)
- E-Z-GO RXV 4 (pre-owned)
- Yamaha Drive2 QuieTech (pre-owned)
Each pre-owned page says what remains of the maker’s warranty, if anything, and our golf cart price guide puts every price we charge next to the others.
- If you are set on a Precedent, DS or TXT: a dealer who stocks used fleet cars is the right place to look.
