How to choose

Six seats add weight, so published range figures matter more here than anywhere else: Denago quotes 35 to 40 miles for the Rover XXL, Kandi 37 for the 6Pro, ICON 40-plus for the i60 and i60L. The Evolution Carrier 6 Plus at $9,595 doubles as a six-seat utility cart. At the top, the Club Car Villager 6 and CRU are people-movers for properties and resorts, and the CRU is the only one rated 25 mph on AGM batteries.

Returns are accepted within 30 days on an unregistered, undamaged cart; return freight is the customer’s responsibility and there is no restocking fee. Going by the makers’ spec sheets for the 8 six-seaters we list that publish figures, they run 134 to 153.5 inches long (11 ft 2 in to 12 ft 9.5 in), 45.88 to 55.8 inches wide and 72.63 to 84.4 inches tall, with curb weights of 906 to 1,915 lb depending on model and battery. The shortest is the ICON i60 and the longest the Kandi Kruiser 6Pro. Which six-seater golf carts are street legal?

Of the 15 six-seaters we list, 3 carry a low-speed-vehicle rating in the manufacturer record: Kandi Kruiser 6Pro is sold as a low-speed vehicle, rated 25 mph; Evolution Carrier 6 Plus and Evolution Forester 6 Plus are rated 19 mph as a golf cart and 25 mph with the maker’s LSV package, which has to be fitted for the cart to count as an LSV.
