What makes one golf cart cheaper than another?

Seats first: a two-seater costs less than a four- or six-seater from the same maker. Then brand and build: some makers price their whole range lower, which the list above makes plain. Condition matters too, because a pre-owned cart is priced from the used market. And check the specification table on each product page for range, top speed and charge time rather than assuming a cheaper cart does less.

What should you check before buying a cheap golf cart?

Price the whole purchase: the cart, flat freight, and anything the product page does not list, such as low-speed-vehicle registration where you live. Make sure the seats and range fit your ordinary use; our range guide explains why published figures are a best case. And measure your gate and garage before you order: our measuring guide takes two minutes.

Should you buy a new or a pre-owned cheap golf cart?

Some of the lowest prices here belong to pre-owned carts, priced from the used market and marked Pre-owned. Read the condition note on the product page before you order, and ask us what history and what warranty, if any, comes with that unit. A new cart comes with the maker’s specification and the manufacturer warranty, and every order carries our 30-day return policy on an unregistered, undamaged cart. Choose new if warranty certainty matters more to you than price; choose pre-owned if the lower price matters more and you are comfortable confirming the unit’s history and warranty status before you order.
