For work, the Turfman, Hauler and Carryall lines carry a bed, and price tracks payload more than speed. The MadJax X Series is the two-seater to look at if you want an LSV-rated 25 mph cart from a custom-build brand.

What we tell you before you order

Freight is a flat $250 to any address we ship to, shown in the total before you pay; delivery is 7 to 10 business days by lift-gate freight. Returns are accepted within 30 days on an unregistered, undamaged cart; return freight is the customer’s responsibility and there is no restocking fee. Every figure on a product page is read from the manufacturer record; where a figure is not published it reads “Not specified” rather than an estimate.

How big is a two-seater golf cart?

Going by the makers’ spec sheets for the 4 two-seaters we list that publish figures, they run 91.5 to 96 inches long (7 ft 7.5 in to 8 ft 0 in), 45 to 49 inches wide and 68.5 to 72 inches tall, with curb weights of 665 to 1,058 lb depending on model and battery. The shortest is the Club Car Onward 2 Passenger and the longest the ICON i20. Every model’s figures, with sources, are in our golf cart dimensions and weight guide; measure your gate and garage against them before you order.

Which two-seater golf carts are street legal?

Of the 20 two-seaters we list, 2 carry a low-speed-vehicle rating in the manufacturer record: MadJax X Series is sold as a low-speed vehicle, rated 25 mph; Evolution Classic 2 Plus is rated 19 mph as a golf cart and 25 mph with the maker’s LSV package, which has to be fitted for the cart to count as an LSV. The other 18 are golf carts rated 20 mph or less. Whether an LSV may use your roads is your state’s and town’s call: see what a low-speed vehicle is and, for Florida, our Florida golf cart laws guide.
