Returns are accepted for 30 days on an unregistered, undamaged cart.

Street-legal carts in Florida

Florida draws a line between a golf cart, limited to 20 mph and to roads a city or county has opened to carts, and a low-speed vehicle (LSV), which runs 20 to 25 mph, carries lights, mirrors, seat belts, a windshield and a VIN, and must be titled, registered and insured; it may use roads posted at 35 mph or less (Florida Statute 316.2122). Registration is handled at the county tax collector. Our street-legal carts are the ones whose manufacturer record says LSV; the product page tells you whether a cart is sold at 25 mph or needs the maker’s LSV package. Our Florida golf cart laws guide covers driver age, titles and St. Johns County’s road rules.
